The Institute Incubation and Innovation Council (I3C) is the startup incubator of IIT Jammu, operating as a Section-8, not-for-profit organization fully owned by the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jammu for an Assistant Program Manager. The Assistant Program Manager will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate with startups, and assist in organizing events and workshops. Responsibilities include overseeing program activities, building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, and assisting with incubator operations. The individual will also provide administrative support, monitor project progress, and report key metrics to ensure the successful functioning of the incubation centre.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication, report writing, and preparing presentations.
  • Basic understanding of startup ecosystems, entrepreneurship, and innovation processes.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, networking, and relationship management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in the use of productivity tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the technology or startup ecosystem in Jammu & Kashmir is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic work environment.

  • 2–5 years of experience in operations / administration / startup ecosystem / Incubators & Accelerator
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
