Learning Outcomes:
- Analyse the electric vehicle industry ecosystem, regulatory framework, and vehicle architectures
- Evaluate battery technologies, cell chemistries, pack configurations, and safety mechanisms
- Design and analyse EV powertrains including motors, inverters, drivetrains, and power electronics
- Perform EV system modelling and simulation using MATLAB-SIMULINK, QSS, and ADVISOR
- Develop embedded systems using Embedded C on Arduino and STM32 microcontroller platforms
- Model and implement Battery Management System (BMS) algorithms and protection logic
- Conduct structural and linear analysis of EV components using ANSYS
- Implement advanced control strategies for EV systems using MATLAB
- Integrate vehicle communication systems and ARM-based embedded applications
- Evaluate ADAS and AUTOSAR architectures for intelligent electric vehicles
- Design and analyse EV charging systems including AC/DC and fast-charging technologies
- Understand and apply hydrogen fuel cell systems in electric mobility
- Optimise motor and drive systems for performance, efficiency, and reliability
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology / Science.
- Final-year undergraduate students are also eligible to apply.
- No prior experience in Electric Vehicles or Embedded Systems is required
