About the Program

Catalyst 30 is a targeted investment-readiness and seed funding program launched by I3C – IIT Jammu, with support from SIDBI, to empower early-stage, revenue-generating startups. The program provides structured mentorship, financial planning support, and equity funding of up to ₹30 lakhs to help founders strengthen their business models, improve investor readiness, and scale sustainably.

Objective

  1. Enable early-stage startups to become investment-ready through expert-led mentoring and financial planning.
  2. Provide equity-based seed funding of up to ₹30 lakhs to help startups achieve key growth milestones.
  3. Facilitate investor access and support scalable, revenue-generating startups on their path to institutional funding.

What is Catalyst 30?

No. There is no fee to apply or participate in Catalyst 30.

The program runs in multiple phases, including mentoring, funding support, and post-investment guidance. Timelines will be shared with shortlisted startups.

Catalyst 30 is sector-agnostic and open to all startups that meet the eligibility criteria, with a focus on scalable, revenue-generating ventures.

Yes, Catalyst 30 funding is equity/SAFE-based, not debt. The exact terms will be discussed during the funding process.

Applications can be submitted online through the provided application link. Shortlisted startups will be contacted for further evaluation rounds.

Applications will be evaluated based on:

  • Innovation and scalability of the business model
  • Revenue traction and market potential
  • Strength of the founding team
  • Alignment with investor readiness goals

Funding will be disbursed after the due diligence process and signing of the investment agreements.
